The Wright Step to Senior Living began with a problem we kept running into from opposite sides of it.

Families searching for senior living were being routed through agencies that earned a commission on where they ended up. Communities were paying thousands of dollars per move-in for families who had been looking for them all along. Nobody in the middle was doing anything a good directory couldn't do — except taking a cut.

So we built the directory instead.

Christopher Wilcox is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has spent more than fifteen years working with older adults in skilled nursing and assisted living communities across Florida. He has sat with a lot of families at the beginning of this decision.

Lori Wright works directly with senior living communities across Southwest Florida and leads community partnerships for The Wright Step.

We are based in Bradenton and we serve six counties: Manatee, Sarasota, Charlotte, DeSoto, Lee, and Collier.
