The Wright Step to Senior Living

For Families

Search, compare,
reach out.

Most families start this search late at night, at the kitchen table, with no idea where to begin. The Wright Step is a place to start.

How It Works

  1. Tell us about your search

Choose your area, how far you're willing to travel, the level of care you're looking for, and your budget. It takes a few minutes.

  2. See real communities

Browse communities that match, sorted by distance. Photos, care levels, pricing ranges, and any current move-in offers — not a wall of ads.

  3. Save what feels right

Keep the communities you like, share them with a sibling or spouse, and come back when you're ready. No pressure, no sales calls.

  4. Contact them directly

When you want to talk, your message goes straight to the community. No one sits in the middle of that conversation.

What It Costs You

Nothing. Ever.

The Wright Step is free for families, and it always will be. Communities pay an annual subscription to be listed — the same amount whether one family contacts them or a hundred do.

That matters more than it might sound. We are never paid for a move-in, which means we have nothing to gain from where you land. The recommendation you get from us is the honest one: look at what fits, ask hard questions, and decide for yourself.

What You Tell Us

You choose what to share.

Beyond the basics, you can tell us more about what you're looking for — the size of community that feels right, whether faith matters, whether a pet is coming along, what kind of daily support you need, and what your loved one actually enjoys doing.

All of it is optional. You can skip any of it and still search.

When you contact a community, you'll see exactly what gets shared before you send it. And there are things we don't collect at all: no diagnoses, no medications, no medical records.

If You Get Stuck

There's a person on the other end.

If your loved one is in the hospital and you're trying to sort this out in a hurry — or the app just isn't making sense — you can ask for help. We'll walk you through how to use it, explain what the care levels actually mean, and tell you what to ask when you tour.

What we won't do is tell you which community to pick. That choice is yours, and keeping it that way is the point.

Launching Soon

The app is in final testing and will be on the App Store shortly. Write to us if you'd like to know when it opens.
